The absolutely amazing Lunorichi drew this one as a custom Patreon piece. I wanted something that showed Damian and Cassander’s kiss in the desert and boy did she deliver. I cannot get over how gorgeous this is!

Whenever I’m writing new characters, I want to figure out what their dynamic is once they do get together. Are they still sparky? Are they comfortable and safe? With Damian and Cassander the feeling I got was tentative. I think you see that in Damian’s hands. One hand his cupping Cassander’s mouth, but the other isn’t quite resting on his back. He’s still unsure what this is and what they’re doing together.
